Hi there,

A prospect asks how long switching tools will take. A support ticket describes a workaround. A customer review explains what finally made the purchase worthwhile.

Each conversation contains a clue about what people need, what gives them confidence, and what helps them move forward.

Those clues often live in different places: sales notes, support conversations, reviews, and feedback forms.

AI can help bring them together, identify recurring themes, and turn them into ideas your team can use.

Here are three places to start.

1. Start with a question you want to answer.

Pick something specific: “What makes prospects hesitate before signing up?” or “What do new customers need help with most?”

Gather a small set of recent sales notes, support conversations, or responses from a Typeform survey. Bring them into your team’s approved AI workspace, including the source, date, and customer stage so each comment has context.

Keep prospects, new customers, and long-term users separate. Their questions can tell you different things about the experience.

2. Ask AI to connect the clues.

Look for recurring needs, questions, and desired outcomes across the feedback, using an AI research tool like Ignition to help identify patterns. Keep supporting excerpts and their sources alongside each theme.

For example, “Can we import our records?” and “Who helps us switch?” may point to a shared concern about getting started.

Review those examples with someone who speaks to customers regularly. Together, you can explore whether people need clearer information, more support, or a change to the process.

You now have a specific issue to work on, supported by actual conversations.

3. Turn one pattern into something useful.

If switching is a recurring concern, create a short walkthrough of your onboarding process. If customers keep praising a particular use case, build a campaign around that experience.

Start small. A follow-up drafted from a customer call in [Spiky.ai], for example, could be a chance to answer a question that keeps coming up. Add the relevant explanation or resource, check the details, and make the next step clear.

Choose one improvement and a simple way to assess it: fewer repeated setup questions, more replies to a follow-up, or more customers completing onboarding.

Try this week: Review ten recent customer conversations with AI. Find one recurring question and create one useful piece of content that answers it.

NachoTuesday: Featured C-suite Insights

Understanding your audience also helps you decide where to reach them.

In our latest NachoTuesday conversation, PJ Wenzel and Alex W. from AdLever explored streaming TV as a performance marketing channel and how smaller businesses can get started.

They explained how businesses can use their own audience lists for streaming TV, display, and online video campaigns. Their approach starts with the people you want to reach, then considers the budget and frequency needed to reach them consistently.

Their creative advice was practical, too: keep your brand visible and show that you understand the audience’s needs.

What’s Happening in Tech?

Google expands ads inside AI search

On October 28, Google announced that ads in AI Mode are expanding to ten countries, including Australia, Canada, and India. It also announced multiturn ads in the US, allowing ads to appear during follow-up queries in an AI Mode conversation. Ads will be labeled “Sponsored.”

Our takeaway: the questions customers ask as they narrow their choices can help you create more relevant campaign messages and product content. Read Google’s announcement →

Microsoft brings more AI to customer conversations

On October 21, Microsoft introduced Contact Center Intelligence in public preview. It adds AI agents and conversation analysis to existing contact center systems. Its quality tools can evaluate historical self-service conversations against selected standards to identify opportunities for improvement.

Our takeaway: customer service conversations can also inform clearer onboarding, better help content, and a stronger understanding of what customers need. Explore Microsoft’s announcement →
